Getting clean, uniform, color out of this panel is going to be challenging. Overall Review: Know what you're getting into. I'll wait to see if apple comes out with a new 5k screen in the fall and I'll sell this one. I only kept it because of the price and I was tired of straining my eyes on my macbook pro. The first was blotchy all over and even had what looked like a scuff inside. Contrast is a bit weak compared to the 15 inch screen on my 3 year old macbook pro. The lower right side has a strong magenta cast. The panel's color isn't uniform throughout. I color calibrated it using the Spyder5pro and it still has a slight cyan cast. Pros: Only true full 4k monitor on the market right now. I would definitely look at the Samsung first, or if you can live with a panel that supports sRGB but not full Adobe RGB, then I would give BenQ or ASUS a shot. They did a lot right with this monitor, but what's wrong makes it a bad choice for color work or design. There are obvious quality control issues with the LG models. 75" taller - as the LG feel a little "squashed" from the moment I started using it. I actually prefer the aspect ration of the Samsung - about. The fact that it is UHD instead of true 4K like the LG is of little consequence.
